FreshFold Mobile Laundry Service Agreement & Policy
1. Services Provided
FreshFold provides professional mobile laundry services including wash, dry, and professional folding. We handle personal garments, bedding, and household linens with the highest standard of care. Specialized fabrics or items requiring hand-washing are only accepted by prior arrangement.
2. Pricing
All laundry is weighed dry at our facility. Services are billed at a per-pound rate. Bulky specialty items such as comforters, pillows, and heavy blankets are billed at a flat rate per item. A minimum service fee applies to every scheduled order.
3. Turnaround Time
Our standard turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours. While we strive to meet all scheduled delivery times, factors such as weather or high seasonal volume may cause slight variations. Express service with a guaranteed 24-hour return is available for an additional surcharge.
4. Pickup & Delivery
Clients must specify a secure location for pickup and delivery. FreshFold is not responsible for laundry left unattended at porches, curbs, or common building areas. If a secure location is not accessible during the assigned window, a missed pickup fee will apply.
5. Payment Terms
Payments are secured and processed online. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice, which is generated once laundry is weighed. Delivery will not be finalized until full payment is received or confirmed via the stored payment method.
6. Care & Handling
We adhere to the manufacturer's instructions on all care labels. For items without a label, we will use our best professional judgment. FreshFold is not responsible for inherent damage such as shrinkage, structural weakening of old fabrics, or color bleeding in unseparated orders.
7. Loss or Damage Policy
In the unlikely event of loss or damage, claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery. Liability is limited to 10 times the cleaning cost of that item, or a maximum of $100 per total order, whichever is lesser.
8. Personal Items
It is the client's responsibility to empty all pockets before pickup. FreshFold is not responsible for damage caused to garments or machinery by items left in pockets, nor for the loss of any personal property found within garments during processing.
9. Service Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse service for laundry heavily soiled with hazardous substances, biohazards, or pest infestations. Such items will be returned unwashed or isolated for special handling at the owner's expense.
10. Cancellation Policy
Rescheduling or cancellations must be completed at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup window. Cancellations within the 2-hour window or missed pickups where the driver is already on-site will incur a convenience fee.
11. Agreement
By scheduling a pickup with FreshFold Mobile Laundry Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms. This agreement remains in effect for all future services until updated.
